Roadmap

OK, first couple versions are in the Mac App Store now, just shipped Gradient Map, "File > New from Clipboard" and a handful of small enhancements.

This is my first app and I'm discovering that marketing is going to be at least as much work as building. As far as building is concerned, here's the highest priority roadmap items. I think these are all doable for 2026.

• Adjustment layers
• Layer styles (which can pretty much just be syntactic sugar for adjustment layers)
• Smart objects
• Camera Raw, which is a misnomer, it's the standard Lightroom-like adjustments such as sliders for shadows and highlights, color temperature, etc
• Advanced typography options including non-proportional stretching, paragraph styles, kerning

Shape layers is looking like a 2027 thing.

When it comes to marketing, I'm realizing how important brief no-voiceover videos are, especially ones that try to sex up the features. I'm learning Capcut, I might also dip into Da Vinci Resolve. Video editing and writing marketing copy are not my strong suits, that's for sure!

What I really need is to partner with a content creator, in a revenue sharing situation (once I make it non free of course). Email me if you're interested!
